These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Raize platform at raize.uk (the "Service") operated by Raize ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your profile up to date.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2. Use of the Service
For trainers
- You may browse, save, and apply to job opportunities posted by employers.
- Profile information you share with employers (including qualifications, certifications, and identification documents) must be accurate and truthful.
- Sharing your profile with an employer does not guarantee employment.
For employers
- You may post job opportunities and review trainer profiles.
- Job postings must be genuine and accurately describe the role, requirements, and compensation.
- Employer accounts require admin approval before full access is granted.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications
- Harass, abuse, or send unsolicited messages to other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
- Circumvent or interfere with security features of the Service
4. Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Raize and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
Content you upload (profile photos, videos, certifications) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to use, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the Service.
5. Messaging
The in-app messaging system is provided for professional communication between matched trainers and employers. We reserve the right to monitor messages for compliance with these Terms and to remove content that violates our policies.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by other users, including trainer qualifications or job posting details.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
- We are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Service.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Raize from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
